POSTCARD from PROVENCE

Everyone arrived safely but wetly. There was a good deal of dripping and laughter and we all feel like old friends. Here they are at the welcome apèro.
We are being royally treated by Philip and Jude at the Madelene. Fine wines and the kind of seasonal herby fayre I adore. And moist cakes....I hereby vow not to eat a single pudding for the next two weeks!

Louis is first to get to the ricotta pie.
