“Turns out the beach is easy to get to (though not so easy to find one's way back). After a long day in the studio painting the model (hard work!), I found it a pleasant distraction to sit on the rocks and paint the changing light on the various headlands leading out to Favàritx”

Love this composition Julian! The rich colours and texture of the water brings the painting to life!....It's as if I can smell the salty sea air.
As always your colouring is subtle and beautiful.
