Hi Julian,
I know it should be seen with your own eyes, but the color of the copper pot, is the best I have seen in my life. Great oil!

Carole

I do like restrained palettes and this one works really well. You have captured the contrast between the paper thin garlic skin and the solidity of the pan beautifully. Who wants a boring old polished pan anyway? Good to know yours is used.

A beautifully restrained example of purple and gold and a composition that takes the eye in a circle, another winner!

Painter’s notes

My little copper pan came out of last year's fire a little tarnished—it shows more shine under artificial lights as here on this dark afternoon
