Excellent. I want it.
It's still beautiful or at least, you made it so.
What artificial light? All the light is coming from the garlic!
Hi Julian, I know it should be seen with your own eyes, but the color of the copper pot, is the best I have seen in my life. Great oil!
Love the copper with the purples...
Such power in the composition... and great brushwork!!
I do like restrained palettes and this one works really well. You have captured the contrast between the paper thin garlic skin and the solidity of the pan beautifully. Who wants a boring old polished pan anyway? Good to know yours is used.
A splendid lesson on colour values.
I like the way this is painted - lots of vigor and gusto in the brushstrokes, Julian. It is a terrific painting all around!
A beautifully restrained example of purple and gold and a composition that takes the eye in a circle, another winner!
