There is something sinister in the knife angled as it is to pierce the onion. It gives another level of meaning to a painting about lunch or dinner preparations. Julian you do bring out the beauty of onions.

I think "les Sabatier" should pay you a huge commission! Yes, their knives are good, but your paintings are Excellent!
