Painter’s notes

“I write to you from Ubud on the wonderful island of Bali. My first painting here is not overly ambitious but I did want to let you know where I had got to! Hopefully I will get out into the landscape over the next few days (refreshing rain permitting) and later we head up north to the "away from it all" coast.”
