“Sorry about the lack of paintings from Bali, some may still appear but for now we are back in a rather sultry Provence. Still no Cherries, much to Louis' disappointment but strawberries a plenty!”

Beautiful though your pictures of fruit and vegetables always are, so life-like and tempting to lick the screen, we would like to see more variety in your subjects - even at the expense of fewer pictures per week. We love your landscapes, but can't remember seeing one for ages, and the weather here in Provence has been quite good since mid February. You have an astonishing gift, and our world would be a poorer place without it.
Julian, it’s not what you paint, it’s how you paint it, that is what intrigues me.
