“We took a trip today, boat, bus, ferry with bus and then another boat to Choggia via Pellestrina and the Lido. We had a wonderful fish lunch (shellfish) and enjoyed spectacular weather and views of the lagoon and out to sea. We got home with two paintings by me and several drawings by Louis, tired but content. (Thanks for the suggestion Jerome).”

Lovely sun. Hope this means you are all over the bugs and enjoying life. Sounds like Louis is doing well.
Particularly like the horizon on this one! I was in Venice this same time last month painting for week with several American and English friends. Such an artist's paradise! (Except for the mobs of tourists...) And ohhhh the seafood!
Just love that painting reminding me of favorite paintings of Edward Seago.
