ooh la la! Beautiful
Having participated in the workshop in early June I can highly recommend attending the next painting workshops offered by Julian and Ruth. This painting is a remembrance of what you will find there to paint and much more. There are paintings in every view and it is little wonder that Julian and Ruth settled here to paint, play the cello, raise their family and enjoy their lives. Coupled with wonderful hospitality, food, wine and the company of other artists it was and is an great experience for all artists beginning or professional. If you are on this site reading this then you already know that Julian is a brilliant painter but do you know he is a very good dancer too!
You have a way with poppies!
Hi Julian, What a beauty! The colors are so brilliant. Great feeling you get looking off in the distance. All your paths lead somewhere and it's so inviting. Enjoy reading the comments like today one of your past students Kathleen gave a wonderful description of her time spent there. So happy for her and others to experience such a wonderful painting excursion.
Gorgeous:)
Dear Julian, there was no doubt in my mind that the courses would be as success! You are both very talented and from now on I guess you will run courses twice a year for a very long time to come. Probably one day you might even provide your own accommodation, (purpose built, on Chauvet's orchard, everybody has a price.) for participants, holistic spa, artists community etc. All in your own laid back style! The future looks great! A little bit crazy, I know. The painting is great by the way, love the drab olive green tones in the foreground with the poppies.
I want to be walking down this road....
Hello, Several years ago I met Ruth and you thru Ann Lawson on a trip to Provence. My daughter and her husband and I are coming to France on a river boat cruise next summer. We want to take about 3 days and come up to Crillion Le Brave or somewhere near there and wondered if Ruth was still taking people on tours. If so we would really like to have her services to see parts of the area that were not included on the river boat cruise if possible. Right now it looks like we would be there sometime in July. Please let me know if any of this is possible. Thank You Joy
