I really am enjoying your postcard paintings- so beautiful and inspiring. I am hoping to be able to come to your workshop next June. Happy painting! Judy
when i was in school, we all learned to recite a poem: In Flanders fields the poppies grow, between the crosses, row by row.....never really was able to visualize the fields of poppies until yr paintings....thanks, julian. gfs
Dear Julian, What a wonderful, beautiful, well composed painting of all the art I've seen so far. "THIS IS MY FAVORITE". The colors..the scenery everything about it amazing. You made my day! I'd love to run in the poppy fields. Thanks for the mood you set that brings more than expected. Enjoy the new week ahead.
Oh Julian - This is great: the perfect balance/description of poppies near and far! Just what I WANTED to do. I'm going to memorize it. (maybe it's not too late to fix my poppy painting) ;) dorothy
I really like the placement of the orange poppies, dividing the composition almost, but not quite, in half. Just perfect.
The poppies are great but I really love the trees in the background.
This is an awesome painting.....the poppies, trees and "the blue" speak to me. I love this painting. Thanks for sharing it with me.
Great to see more landscapes ---now that your weather has become more friendly for Painting " en plein air " Keep on " pushing paint "
How wonderful it must be to see a sight such as this!! I've never seen a field of poppies but thanks to your skill and generosity in sharing your work, I can gain a better "feel" for how lovely it must be! Thank you, Julian. Elaine
...so, maybe there will be some poppies left for the July workshop people coming soon??? How amazing to have both poppies AND lavender to choose from! Fingers crossed for lucky folks. ;)
Delicious...
