Lovely colours, Julian. I never get enough of Irises in the garden!! Thank you - you did a wonderful job.

Again, as I've said many times, I wish I could paint as loose as you. I wonder how long it will take me to ever paint half as good, even a third as good!! :)

Painter’s notes

This started as a demo for last weeks workshop and was completed (with the help of a few iPhone photo references) in the comfort of the studio—after a week of sun and mistral, painting while listening to music (or The Archers) in the studio is bliss!
