Julian, this breathtakingly beautiful painting should be posted as Sunday 14th of April, not the 13th. It doesn't take away from its beauty in any way though!!!
Another beauty Julian! I've never seen anyone paint like you each one sets a special mood that is hard to explain they are amazing. Have a wonderful week. I must share this with you when I was in art class and we asked the teacher for his advice if we were stuck with not knowing what else to do with our project he would always say "Put the paint where it ain't" :) Even if I had the canvas totally covered it was something I to solve.
Julian - a cold, grey, windy, bone-chilling day on Cape Cod that was much warmed by the sight of your flowers. Thank you from the bottom of my chilly (now-getting-warmer) little heart!
Irises have always been special to me and when I opened this, it took my breath. You so captured the essence of iris. Just glorious, down to the ceramic jug.
This is absolutely equisite!!
How totally satisfied (and fulfilled) you must feel when you turn out pieces as lovely as this!
Your skillful handling of the shadows on the wall behind the flowers fills me with awe - it truly does!
Thank you.
Elaine
Dear Julian, the green glazed pot with the purple irises seems to me the essence of Provence, bold, earthy and full of vitality. Love the highlights on the pot.
Anna.
Hi Julian
I don't seem to be receiving your e-mails since 14th.
Is there a problem or do I need to renew my subscription.
I enjoy your paintings and your reports,
particularly because we have une maison secondaire at Malaucene.
Kind Regards
David
