The perfect way to celebrate strawberries. Is wine made for strawberries in France?

I have followed this pictorial site for many years now and never cease to be enchanted with the still life form and the endless expressions of color.
I lived in the south of France during college years and have never forgotten my time there. recently I have returned to my old photos to
create new paintings-even one of my students is working with one of the images :-)

You will have to look up the Troy Strawberry Festival in Troy, Ohio. This town is about 8 miles from where I live. This is a huge festival every year. Nice painting, Julian, as always.

Hi Julian another "winner". Love the mug in the center it looks like you can reach through the monitor and pick it up! Of course the berries are always perfect. Hope the weather where you are is warming up now and winter has passed. Spring is slow coming here. The trees are so beautiful though with the bright lemon yellow, sap green new leaves budding. When you paint it's amazing how you identify anything you see with the proper paint titles. :)
