I shall telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I...
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference
Robert Frost
I love the way the trees overlap...the mysterious distance...good color...sort of reminds me of how I paint...with lots of gusto...is there any other way?
Dream landscape like paintings of a modern François Boucher.
Through the abounding canopy of foliage, the vacuous sky inexorably disappears. Even though the way out on the left seems appealing, I prefer to turn right, leave the harsh lights to get lost in my brain mazes among the gleaming embers and the black Nothing ! And to achieve this, I will join a white Goddess who is waiting for me, hieratic, on the right, close to the white trunks. O with Her, disappear! A way of escape; so far away from everything.
Hi Julian , beautiful scene. Love the pines and the shadows and light on the road. We have walked and driven many miles to sooth our children and now grandchildren. Brings thoughts of frustration and sweet memories ,love it!!
Thanks Craig
