“Ruth and I both bought assorted bunches of daffodils on Friday, and by the time I painted these on Saturday we were again two inches deep in snow—spring will come eventually!”

Today I bought a great big bouquet of flowers...I've yet to paint them.

Happy Spring-Is-Just-Around-THe-Corner Birthday Julian. Daffs in glass against the blue were delicious colors. February to end none to soon. This means that in Connecticut USA tulips are just two inches below soil level, just charging upwards to bring us joy. cheers, geo
Your work focuses at about four feet for me. Like Monet. Just a bit longer than my reach. So to see it, I have to prop up the tablet and look from a small distance. I love that loose and confidant brush strokes can morph into such perfect reality as I retreat. Thanks.
