Julian I love white tulips. These are beautiful. I hope you enjoyed your Christmas with your family. My daughter was married on New Years Eve. I did all the flowers... White hydrangea, white roses...and the tables were white tulips. Home with a cold today...I opened up your email...& there were your beautiful white tulips.. Merci!
Just lovely and very apropos (hope I spelled that correctly!) for the start of a new year. Thank you as always Julian for bringing beauty to all of us! -Lucia
First of all: Also best wishes for all of you. I love your tulips. Bought some pink ones the other day. I find it daring to paint just the two. And.. the result is perfect. Thanks for this lesson.
Remember you wanted us to look after your house, about 10 years ago, around december? Well, this is me.
bye

Hi Julian,
You were one of the "good things"
that made 2012 a good year of blessing. God bless you even more
as you continue to share your talent. Happy New Year to you and your family.
The tulips are captivating. I love the texture and moistness you achieved on the leaves and the softness of the petals. Happy New Year to you and yours. (This would make a nice giclee.)
Happy New Year to you three! I love the breath of Spring in this one - its only round the corner and here in dull wet Blighty, boy, do we need fresh light again!?
Dear Julian,
Greetings from California!
Wishing you, Ruth and Louis joy and prosperity in the New Year. I love the white tulips with the tinge of pink. Lovely!
THANK YOU FOR THIS VERY FIRST LOOK AT SPRING... EVEN IN HAWAII, WE ARE EAGER TO SEE TULIPS (DON'T GROW HERE, TOO WET AND WARM) AND THIS IS A REAL TREAT... GORGEOUS!
I think flowers are among the most difficult of painters subjects, these are lovely. I love the eloquence of that soft curved shadow on the front tulip and how that beautiful dark olive green of the back leaf provides a springboard for the stunning bright greens creamy whites.
A very happy new-year wish for
all three of you in far-away France.
The painting of the white spring
tulips is beautiful.Here in Calgary
it is still mid-winter till the end
of April. Greetings from Rini Szuromi
