Low tide

This may seem a completely silly sort of comment. But I would like to say that this little boat somehow seems like a brave little boat.
You managed to endow this craft with personality!

this and the previous painting remind me so much of the boats and tidal flats of Nova Scotia.
The composition and values in them are dead on and the colors in the flats are rich and beautiful.

and yet another beautiful little boat...is there really anything more wonderful than a boat? well at least to me anyway...I was just in Venice and wanted to paint every one I saw...would have been there all year...you have a nice feeling here with this low tide boat...thank you
