As I read your comment today how the angle of light coming through the window and its intensity might determine how a painting is composed.The light on the cheese highlights its creaminess.

The pictorial treatment of the table and the olives shows us how your mind is in a state of ferment when you are painting.By contrast with the relaxing effect you have suggested regarding the blending treatment of the fermented cheese. Like different tempis in a symphony. Like an open heart. Impressive.

Your treatment of this simple subject really grabbed my attention and excited my senses with it's vitality and delicious gloss and textures. The lighting and brushwork are dynamic. Seems your new and unpredictable painting environment has done nothing to deter your artistic spirit!
