This is my kind of painting. Do you do workshops?
Why 18x13? Not 18x14? Anyway masterpiece.
Everyone from small to old at our house loves this.
More than a sensory experience...sensual;
an absolute aesthetic ecstasy.
While the plump garlic plump dominates the foreground, the forceful brushstrokes and tiny details of colour on the copper pan pull our attention to it.
Julian:
This piece of the set-up is very interesting
and the dark background does a great job of
setting up the garlic and the pot.The bottle is there, yet it's not. It's so subtle. However, I think the reflection on the pot behind the garlic is a little too hot and grabs too much attention. Hope to see the finished painting one day soon.
Thanks, Bernie
PS:I hope you don't object to my critique.
