Hi Julian,
I look forward every day to your Postcard from Provence.
Your painting style is exactly what i appreciate the most. You've inspired me to start oil painting again after many years.
Thanks...looking forward to many more of your fine paintings.

I very much enjoy your painting-----and the effect of light in your landscapes as well as still lifes. However it seems that the darks (especially in your landscapes ) appear quite colourless---?could this be the electric transmission?----could you increase the presence of colour in these " darks"----without deminishing your over-all "light" in the painting ? --Sincerely ADForward
It is wonderful to see a landscape again! It's been a while, and I am so glad you are up to it again! And this one is gorgeous.
Thank you for sending this sun-filled beauty to us.
I love the airy quality to this painting and how the road leads one into the painting! It makes me want to be there without a care in the world! Lovely!
Yes, thank you Julian, what a lovely autumnal atmosphere. The counterchange is beautiful and brings a freshness: I can just smell the cool, crisp air! Re: shadow colours as mentioned by ADForward, if it helps to hear from someone else with a different computer, in my image I can see at least greens, purples, yellows and blues.
