“After a cloudy night, rainless but with much distant lightning, the morning quickly became quite bright. I picked these figs from Chauvet's 'figuier'. I was barefoot and the ground was painfully dry and spiny and in desperate need of water. It is amazing that a tree can produce such succulent fruit in such dry conditions—Louis likes figs”

Beautiful fruit. Some scholars say that it was a fig that Eve eat and not an apple by tradition. Your's look very tempting.
