Beautiful fruit. Some scholars say that it was a fig that Eve eat and not an apple by tradition. Your's look very tempting.

I am gaping,this morning,at this amazing and romantic still life!It reminds me of a French fable by Jean de la Fontaine,"The two pigeons":

-There were two pigeons on a tree
Who loved each other tenderly
..."

#1600! It seems like yesterday when a friend first sent me the link to Postcards from Provence. Just so amazing to watch for your work and to read the comments.
