Looking at this painting has lifted my spirits. I have again been watching the terribly depressing footage of rioting and was feeling very depressed. I will now go to bed with this beautiful image in my head instead of feral youths smashing windows. Thanks Julian.
I have so enjoyed all your posts over the summer, especially the lavender fields. But this one is awesome - the peaches are actually fuzzy! I just want to reach out and grab one and bite into it. Sorry I missed seeing you in April when you were going to pick up Louis. Maybe I'll finally meet you on my next trip to France.
