A tribute to the "black purple" negative spaces. A background more hectic than it seems, with furious tracks of bubbling brushstrokes hidden into the darkness.
No this still life is not so calm and motionless but it is a snapshot of a harmless twinkling molten lava flow of strawberries..

Hi. I just love your paintings! Somedays you inspire me to get cracking! I am starting a Maine May Painting Marathon! I am going to paint as many 5x7 oils on copper panels as humanly possible!
