I love the intense focus on one thing, with the flower cut off by the edges of the painting. It looks very real yet also modern, ambiguous in meaning and bold compositionally.
Alain, n'as-tu pas de commentaire?
Incroyablement belle, cette peinture!
One of my favorite flowers and a difficult one to paint. Well done!
Hi Jol Je viens juste de découvrir le tableau ce lundi matin à 8 heures 25! I am just taking my breakfast and I cannot write...with my mouth full and a cloudy mind. Best regards.
A sweet flower like a delicacy. A bewitching strawberry meringue... A sweet flower Like a waterlily Foodlighted by the moon alone Hanging on the black water Of Monet's pond at Giverny She is waiting for him But she didn't know He'll never come back. In the heart of this sweet flower A little man sat on a hill His black snake behind him Is praying In front of the rising sun This sun metamorphosing into A palatial flower Like a marvellous big-bang of Love.
I so love peonies... This one's absolutely beautiful!
You did such a great job!
