Old Road to Vaison, Autumn

As joyful and aerial as a painting of Camille Pissarro. The trunks, so slender, nearly frail, the glows of the rippling leaves trying to merge with the sky, touching; and the dark shadows caressing the hill, I feel fleeting, a marvel!

i am loving the subtlety of the autumn colors in this painting..and the quietness of the scene. thank you, julian.

Not - wish you were here - but - wish I was there !

I'd have to go up to the Tate to find a
landscape as fine as this.
