Quite simply divine.I imagine some prehistoric family living hidden nearby. Strange feeling.
The "new" aquas you have been using to depict the water are incredibly beautiful!
This painting has the most inviting water and lighting. The atmosphere is so full of life. Absolutely breath taking. Thank your for painting it. mo
wonderful reflected light, this painting just pulls you in. r.
Hi Julian, welcome back.Wonderful as usual. I sent you this before, but it got lost in your holiday time, but I am interested in what you use for these small paintings . Is it some sort of pochade box? I ask because I have just decided to more plein air painting and have just bought one, and I am curious about what you use.
This is great. It's like I'm standing there right next to you. The water is perfect - you nailed the combination of colors.
"Sure, the artist is behind". Amazing contrast between the extreme delicacy in the way of painting the water(ripples, pebbles through transparencies) and the unbridled way of the stones, cliff and leaves. Both motion and peace. Bias, liberty and character of a performer. Manifest.
Beautifully done, Julian. The color and light of the water is so wonderfully observed and rendered.
Great stuff, Julian. I love all the reflected light and color in the water.
Stunning. I want to walk right into that river.
