Turner would have loved this. Strangely moving and very lyrical.
Dead calm after the storm. Diaphanous clouds like aerial tropical fishes sailing in the sky...And this bell tower in the distance seeming to point at this miraculous extravaganza.... An unending feeling of calmness.
Looking good, Julian. Glad to see the weather cleared for you. We just had a serious storm here in Maine as well. Lost power for hours. Being without the Internet is one thing, but when I can't even work in my own studio, that's another!
and thanks to you, julian, on Thanksgiving, for yr paintings which i so look forward to, no matter the weather, the place or the subject matter. also to alain who adds to the pleasure and knowledge and makes me really LOOK! gfs
What a beautiful Thanksgiving gift! Thanks so much Julian! Brian Kliewer - I'm from Maine too... you must be on the coast, cause that was a hardhitting storm we had!
