i wonder if the gold tree still shines a bit even in the dark and rain? i try to visualize how i would paint it. how would you?
Well if it wasn't dark I could see it from this window, I know it's losing it's leaves now, winter will soon be upon us. I think Nov 4th has been a key date over the last few years. I've not lit a fire in the chimney yet.
The wild flower actually looks like a chive flower which is growing in my herb garden. It is a beautiful painting!
the stem of the flower is stunning--how you have captured the light and shadow on that skinny little reed is really cool.
