Delicious! Wish I could afford it, too. Welcome back, you two... you were missed!
This is just so fresh! I feel like I just picked them myself- such immediacy!
i love the casualness of wildflowers stuck in a jar....yr rendition is certainly not casual....beautiful is the word. my favorite...
This is just beautiful, I can't believe it.
The flowers are great, but the jar is stupendous!
I think it would be interesting to see how people frame or display the paintings created by Julian. Could anyone post a link? thanks, -joe
Hi Julian Thank you for this Mother's Day bouquet. You arrange flowers with the same expertise that you paint. Moreover the bouquet has all my favourtie colours in it. I learn so much from this site about composition; now I've had a lesson in flower arranging. Thank you.
Fresh and ephemeral, just like wildflowers. Gorgeous!
Some of you have asked about wild flowers and Ruth and I have posted the results of a photo shoot taken on this mornings walk (all within a ten minutes radius of the house) in celebration of my mother's 79th birthday... 79 flowers for Margaret's birthday
Hey Juilan, wonderful painting . I am doing a series of small works using glass jars. Your painting of the Bank of Flowers is excellent. I am doing a series of the same subject to celebrate spring in Denver. I will post some of my small works on my website in the future. I really like the small format works, this way I can chop wood , haul water and do the laundry. ARTON!!!
