I love this. Ephemeral. The cast shadow is something I love to see as clouds float along. You are indeed in paradise. Beautiful.

the hardest thing with skies is getting the atmospheric perspective which you do so brilliantly julian!

One of the great joys of summer is looking into a cloudy sky and letting the imagination run free just to see what it will return. Even in your painting I have found two very powerful figures that might be out of one of DaVinci's battle scene's. To the viewer's left the head and torso of a man looking to our left. The other, center right, a young man facing to our right thrusting his right arm and fist through the picture plane. Both powerful and strong. I won't mention the surfer joe comic strip character. What fun! Thanks.
