Of course they do! They are metaphors for Julian and Ruth. Love 'em, and just wish I could afford the larger paintings, sob!!!!!And I mean all of them!!!!

joyce, we are indeed red because we are pissed (in the english sense, ie on côtes du rhone) and fat (too many potatoes) and leaning on each other because if we didn't we'd fall over.

ps julian is the fatter one. (his words)

Delightful painting and a delightful website. I wish I had arrived here sooner to bid on the original. A print will now have to suffice.

Your artwork is beautiful and I envy your skill. I also envy the fact that you live in the south of France! :-)

My print arrived today only one week after the order was placed.

It was packaged carefully, and arrived without any damage whatsoever.

The print is absolutely beautiful and far more interesting than can be portrayed on the website with an image.

Many thanks!

george

STUNNING! pears are so like humans. I wrote my comment for this on the previous painting...sorry!

How long did this take you? It is so good...very sweet. Do you do pencil outlines first or go straight into paint? You should write about how you paint on the website...it would be very interesting! You have a unique talent...I envy your skill!
