The scale of this piece amazes me. I'm wondering what the pot's actual dimensions are and who the potter might be? Really nice painting. Thanks, Julian.

Hi Catherine, it is very large and you could easily fit a small goose in it, about 20" high! It's probably a hundred and fifty years old and very typical of provence; both this honey colored glaze and the green which often appears in Cezanne's paintings
