This really captures the intensity of a Fall day, the strong light and deep, cool shadows, all while the leaves are beginning to turn. And, always, making us want to know what's around the bend or down the road!

I just love poplar trees and yours is beautiful. P.S. I hope I got this one right, it is a poplar tree isn't it?

Yes Jennifer Poplars, we have two kinds the tall ones and a broader one with silvery leaves and a silver bark as in
Near Beaumes de Venise
