Hmmm...(This is the title) I feel the "fruits" Beneath their thin skin Full of juices and fleshes, Their little leaves With all senses alert Let their whitish saps Spill out... O how this wide-eyed couple Head over heels in love Makes me flushed And blushed... Like an old bachelor! "Please my dear Tomatoes Could you switch off the light? - But why? says the couple", With one voice, "What have we done wrong?"
What better way to celebrate coming home than to paint a wonderful still-life of your home grown tomatoes. They're beautiful! And I'm sure they tasted as great as they looked.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Please, what variety are these?
Your tomatoes are great! What kind are they that they are so dark? Maybe I need to google Burpee! I love your painting!
I love your tomatoes that are so in love! I'am also in love with your painting!
...i meant "I'm" and not "I'am"... Silly jol!
I am a gardener, I just came in from painting a fence I built around my vegetable garden, I was checking my email( baby due any minute in our family) and I came across your lovely tomato's. You have captured them beautifuly. I could just feel their just picked warmth and that heavenly scent of a fresh picked tomato.
I think they are just "Coeur de Boeuf" but they do have that greenish top of the "Noir de Crimea" - anyway they taste great!
I can feel the warmth of the sun in these tomatoes and can imagine the feeling of the juice, pulp and seeds in my mouth. Thanks for this delicious painting.
Hmmmm? why don't my tomatoes (either real or painted) look as good as yours? Lovely as always, thank you
