Oh my gosh that’s beautiful!
I love your composition. And the lemons, so skillfully painted.
The light and modeling adds so much depth.
Love the background texture and vertical stripes of turquoise blue.
That adds a lot of interest. It’s just summer in a painting.
Of course this sold quickly.
I didn’t even get to bid on it!

Painter’s notes

Surprised to find some fresh lemons from coast (one of my still life students was very disappointed to find no 'lemons with leaves' in the market the other day!). The Jug is something I picked up on my travels - Andalusia - it is 18th Century Spanish tin ware (apparently). A larger painting available from the shop
