With your masterful eye and hand, you've caught both the beautiful energy and fragrant delicacy of Spring!
SHAME ON YOU !!!!!!
No not at all, people have been very supportive and lovely, shame on you
I find your comment somewhat bizarre, Hubert. Many artists have Patreon accounts to which fans of their work can donate, as do bloggers, podcasters and Youtubers, and there are subscription sites of Substackers for those of us who want to support writers. We get to enjoy the steady stream of Julian's wonderfully evocative painted postcards from Provence and a vast archive of lovely past works free of charge if we do not want to pay for them - but he still has to live. It would not be unreasonable of Julian to charge us a subscription to follow his artistic odyssey through our beloved Provence. Some of us, myself included, are happy not only to buy his paintings at auction but proud to have donated to his twentieth anniversary appeal so that he can continue his work. Since Julian is not running an extortion racket that it is compulsory to pay into, I am not sure why his honest endeavours should be regarded as shameful.
