“We have had quite a week, rain and thunderstorms, admittedly interspersed with moments of typically stunning provencal normality. It's difficult to complain given we have been in a state of drought for several years but it does make picking cherries difficult, some are watery and not interesting, picking from the wild risks having a little more protein than one may wish (don't look to closely!) and some are wonderful - these were/are/were wonderful!”
