Dear Julian,
Today’s painting is so lovely I had to comment. The broodiness and light of Scotland so beautifully rendered. Your economy of strokes and use of color inspire me to pick up my own brushes again.

Simply gorgeous painting
what Iana called broodiness, I term otherworldly, like so many of the scenes from your trip to a part of the world I find strange, and in this case, luminescent.
