Dear Julian, What is a Roscoff onion? Is it particular to Provence? It is quite lovely in your painting with the brown bottle. Thanks for giving me something attractive to look at and interesting to think about--e.g., also, what was in the bottle originally? Cheers, Linda

Roscoff is a port/town in Brittany on the north west coast of France famous for it's onions

Love your paintings popping into my inbox, especially during this time of isolation. This one puts me in mind of a William Nicholson. The depth of dark in that bottle is wonderful. Thankyou from a mountain in Ireland!
