I just finished making rhubarb and fresh ginger jam, and, as a long-time jelly and jam maker, know all about running out of jars! My favorite Christmas present was from my sister, who sent 2 dozen jars, lids, and caps.
that said, i love the fresh lusciousness of your strawberry depiction, and enjoy your frolicsome composition.
I have missed a few of your posts and beautiful work . I send you well wishes for a speedy recovery . May you and your family stay safe .
With love,
Susan
Sweet painting ... your little still-life paintings are lovely. Sadly our local market is closed here ... French strawberries are the very best! I became very bored with strawberries in Italy unless they came out of the garden
A lovely picture - it reminds me of a few years ago when we came to our family house in Beaumont du Ventoux at Easter and found the first Carpentras strawberries at the market. Such a good flavour and so wonderful at that time of year. Keep up the good work!

Delicious! We often stay at La Nesquière, near Carpentras. Good market there.
Thanks for cheering me up on this cold April day here in Massachusetts with the beautiful painting.
