Mr. Merrow-Smith, Your paintings are remarkable, and I am constantly impressed by how you handle light, and convey surface appearances. I'm wriitng now because your glassware is always stunning. About 18 months ago you did a whiskey glass against a dark background. I honestly felt something like lust for that painting! You keep an actve surface yet it always feels finished, not slapdash.
