Two lovely pears in the last two days. Much enjoyed. Thank you. Meantime, I have encountered the 'Red Moon' apple, cut horizontally through its centre in my greengrocer's (S.Italy). I stayed riveted to this most amazing sight for at least 5 minutes, before being told they tasted as good as they looked - and purchasing 2 for myself! Keep a lookout for them! Jxx
