This painting is beautiful. You've captured the essence of an apple.
I want to thank you for your jolly, and often insightful messages over the 10 + years
I've been reading your postings. You and Richard Rohr(spiritual), have been my secret hope sources. I take a watercolor course, and I like the medium.but I get a lot of inspiration from you. Big one is your work ethic. You feel like family in a strange way. Continuity and sense. And your short simple comments. Kind of Zen, you are.

The apple in this painting looked so good that I immediately went and got one and ate it. It was green and crisp. Thanks for the work you do, painting and maintained this site.

Painter’s notes

Ruth is always being asked to keep an eye out for 'things with leaves', this was one of several apples of assorted size, colour and leafiness that she found at yesterday's market
