“We returned to Venasque but painting in the street in full summer was problematic, I wanted to paint from the upper end of the street but it turned out I was set-up exactly where tables would be for the lunch time clientele, ah well, there are plenty of less crowded villages so this is probably the last time we will visit the very pretty village off Venasque”
