“After weeks of wintery weather our first first workshop of the year coincided fortuitously with the arrival of spring (or weather more like early summer). This painting was a demonstration for this week's students, painted under the shade of a stand of trees just below the terrace where we eat lunch outdoors in the sunshine - a spectacular week with just a couple of more days to run”
