“I've been on a short trip to England, watching Ruth play in the opera at Garsington (Louis sat through Semele by Handel!). I took paints but it was overwhelmingly green and I didn't manage a single painting. Glad to be back in the studio and to find peaches in the market!”

Even though so much is just suggested, I can actually feel the fuzz on those peaches. Beautiful work!
