These recent paintings are succinct and clear, in a way that is different from the wonderfully succulent paintings of peaches, etc. There is a clarity of atmosphere, somehow. I like all of your paintings, just noticed the difference, and am appreciating that.
Ever see the Valencian artist Joachin Sorolla's (1856-1923)work? He did a lot of paintings of children on the beach. Worth a look-see.
I love your sketches--wonderful! I wish I could get those plein-air colors in my paintings as you so easily get.
