This is simply gorgeous!! I have always loved seascapes and yours is a beauty - so calming and soothing. I can almost hear the gentle waves! Many years ago when I was a teen, I visited an art gallery right on the coast in Maine and, naturally, it was filled with marine paintings and seascapes. I still have a card of one of the artists represented there and we're talking almost sixty years ago! The next piece I want to try is a seascape.
Beautiful !!!!! Thanks for the tip on painting waves.
Ive lived by the ocean most of my life. Your scene evokes all the changing sameness that makes the sea always mystery but always available. Bravo
Your waves are lovely--and it's no joke to try and get the immediacy without oveerworking.
Tout simplement parfait ! bravo .
Such a peaceful generic seascape. Reminds of the beach at St. Simons Island, Georgia USA near where I grew up in Brunswick, GA.
