The Peabody Essex Museum has a Childe Hassam show on display. Fun sound effects of waves breaking and seabirds calling and videos. I found a painting in another section that said Académie Julian. It made me think of your blog. For all that you teach and share with us all. We learn so much from you. Thanks Julian.

I painted in Russia (Moscow and Kazan) ,while i lived there and paint on return trips. Currently have a "painter's block" ..........struggling to find my voice and confidence Julian, your work inspires me to paint. Your passion and joy for your work are becoming contagious.
