“The wind has calmed and during the day it's almost balmy — at least the sunshine is constant. This being a port with historic ties to Timbuktu Louis is treated like a little prince”

A wonderful painting with a vibrant sky. Beautiful.
luminous, powdery, poetic! I like the correspondence between the creamy white waves and the creamy white walls. The pink fortress is so captivating.
Louis is a little prince!
A nice feel to this one, Julian - especially like the way you did the rocks and water.
There is no such color as those almost edible walls. Really missed you. Have a lovely time.
This painting reminds me of a beach I once saw as a child in Sicily. Your colors are enchanting. Thank you for bringing the ocean to my bitter cold winter world here in Boston. You most certainly are a breath of "fresh air"! With love!
So wonderful to see these beautiful entries right about now. We are buried in snow in the Northeast of US.
When I read your explanation of needing a rest, I was so afraid you were going to say, "ten years, enough is enough!"
Thank God you are ready to continue, because our world would be so impoverished without your Postcards.
So gratefully,
DonaS.
What a gorgeous painting! A bright spot in my morning. So glad you're all having this wonderful adventure.
Magical all of this and for all of you!
Such a beautiful sky, what a great view. Really missed the paintings, so glad you're back!
Lovely, lovely. So glad you are continuing. And continuing to share with us. Thank you. Enjoy your adventures, well deserved and restorative.
