Great work!
Yes I can see why it would be but the Roman knew how to build thing. Great painting.
Lovely!
Hi Julian, wonderful image love the background info It even looks like it would be scary to cross. I feel the sense of place and the history. Very successful painting Thanks again for sharing. A fellow painter Fondly. Anita
fab painting , hoping we wont be going that way in October though!
Not nice, Julian. These little bridges are so-o-o hard to get right! you just make it look easy! Love it! Hope the week is going well!
Hi Julian , this is a beautiful piece , I like the composition , and your greens are always soooo good !! Thanks Craig
Very lovely ... glad you got the van through!
greens? mais non! it's the mauves! more mauves, I say, and it is a wonderful piece
I LOVE BRIDGES, S O THIS CAPTIVATED ME AS TO SUBJECT--AND THE REASON IS B RIDGES PUT OPPOSITE SIDES TOGETHER. THEY ARE SYMBOLIC AND I LEARNED FROM ELI SIEGEL THAT "IN REALITY OPPOSITES ARE ONE; ART SHOWS.:" OF COURSE, T HERE IS BETTER AND WORSE AND I CLASS THIS PAINTING AS BETTER WITH ITS CROSS OVERS OF ANGLES AND CURVES, GREENS--DARK AND LIGHT, AND NEARNESS AND DISTANCE. SO, TO ALL FINE BRIDGES EVERYWHERE!
I love this painting dearly x
